Job Opportunity: Part-Time Kindergarten Assistant

Olivet School has a job opening for the Part-Time position of Kindergarten Assistant beginning in the 2025/26 school year.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assisting the Kindergarten Teacher with the morning programming, in providing well-balanced and organized activities, promoting the physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual development of all Kindergarten children.
• Assisting in the establishment of and support the adherence to classroom-level rules for behavior, and policies and procedures to maintain order among students.
• Additional responsibility: Lunchroom supervision of all grades, 5 days/week, and helping kindergarteners dress & undress for outdoor recess

Key Qualifications and Educational Requirements include but not limited to:

Energy and enthusiasm for the job, experience working with young children, patience, excellent interpersonal & communication skills with both children and parents/guardians. ECE, ECA or related designation required.
